Midea PortaSplit: the portable AC that sells out in minutes

The Midea PortaSplit is a portable split air conditioner installed without any building work: the outdoor part rests in the window while the indoor unit cools like a fixed system. It's quiet, efficient and leaves no permanent outdoor unit, so renters and people who can't drill the façade love it. That's exactly why it sells out the moment it's restocked.

Why it sells out so fast

It combines everything people want in summer: real cooling (3.5 kW), no drilling or building-owner permission, low noise and low consumption. Every heatwave spikes demand while restocks are small and unpredictable, so units vanish in minutes. Tracking stock by hand is impossible — so we built a tracker and email alerts.

Live availability

The dashboard shows the current status at Amazon.es, GroupSumi and the specialist shops we track, with the time of the last check. When everything is out of stock, the only way not to miss the next restock is an alert.

FAQ

Is it noisy?+

In its quietest mode the indoor unit drops to 39 dB(A), comparable to a library. It's one of the quietest portables precisely because the compressor sits in the part resting in the window.

Do I need building work or permission?+

No. It installs in three steps with a window kit and leaves no fixed outdoor unit, so it's usually viable in rentals and buildings where a traditional split isn't allowed. Always check your building's rules.

Does it heat too?+

Yes — it has a heat pump, so it works in the shoulder seasons as well as cooling in summer.
